Friendship Day celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year. Friends play an important role in our lives. People all over world eagerly waits for Friendship day, a day dedicated to friends and companionship. Celebrated with great fan fare and enthusiasm by the friends, Friendship Day falls on the first Sunday of August each year. In our lives, some friendships stay with us more than others, but that hardly takes away the importance of friendship as even those also carry pleasant associations and serve to sustain your life with hope and abundance. Though the idea of friendship itself is so broad and liberating and cannot be encapsulated in a day’s observance, it does make sense to recognise the essence of friendship on this day. The thing about friendship that sets it apart from all other relationships is that it is pure and divine and means fellowship transcending barriers of race, colour and class. Friendship Day is a tribute to this valuable gift.
The most beautiful aspect of life is having good friends with us around
They will guide you to the track when you are about to derail
They will remain intact with you when nobody has time to think about you
They may not be with you all the time but you fail to witness their voluntary presence when you are desperately in need of it
They never be with you for your money, position, power, or anything unlisted here
But they travel around with your likes and dislikes just to remind you that I am there for you
They flow like a stream in your life just to dissolve your sorrows, touch your heart like a flute with the right rhythm of your mood, block your way when you are about to make a fault/wrong decisions, scold you with rights to make you realise your mistakes.
What they care about all the time is your welfare,
What they expect is your transparency,
What they need is your love and care
All the these don’t require any money to buy
But they definitely need your heart and time at times
They will disappear like a snow in the scorching sun when you failed to show up your integrity
They broke into pieces like a glass jar falling down when they start knowing your treachery
It is our duty to preserve them like a treasure of our lives and respect them like a living philosopher and guide.
