ఉద్యోగులకు ఉచిత నేత్ర పరీక్షలు
కాకినాడకు చెందిన మెక్సీ విజన్ సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ నేత్ర పరీక్ష బృందం స్థానిక పరిపాలనాధికారి కార్యాలయంలో బుధవారం ఉచిత నేత్ర పరీక్షల శిబిరం నిర్వహించారు. 100 మందికి పైగా వివిధ శాఖల అధికారులు, ఉద్యోగులకు కంటి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించారు. పరిపాలనాధికారి అంకిత్ కుమార్, సూపర్ింటెండెంట్ ఆనివిల్లి శ్రీనివాసు తదితరులు వైద్య పరీక్షలు చేయించుకున్నారు.
క్యాన్సర్ చికిత్సా కేంద్రం సాధనకు కృషి
యానాం పరిసర ప్రాంతాల ప్రజలకు మంచి వైద్య సేవలు అందేలా జిప్మెర్ మల్టీ స్పెషాలిటీ యూనిట్ను అభివృద్ధి చేయడమే లక్ష్యమని ప్రత్యేక ప్రతినిధి మల్లాడి కృష్ణారావు తెలిపారు. వచ్చే నెల రూ.5 కోట్లు వ్యయంతో సీటీ స్కాన్ యంత్రం రానుందని చెప్పారు. ఇప్పటి వరకు 95 వేల మందికి ఓపీడీ సేవలు అందించామని వెల్లడించారు. వార్షికోత్సవం సందర్భంగా రోగులకు స్వీట్లు, పండ్లు పంపిణీ చేశారు.
వైభవంగా సింహ వాహనోత్సవం
స్థానిక భూసమేత వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి కల్యాణోత్సవాలను పురస్కరించుకుని బుధవారం రాత్రి సింహవాహనోత్సవం వైభవంగా నిర్వహించారు. స్వామివారికి పంచామృతాభిషేకం, విశేష అలంకరణ చేశారు. అనంతరం పురవీధుల్లో ఊరేగింపు జరిగింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఉపాధ్యాయ సంఘం సభ్యులు, అర్చకులు, భక్తులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
Free Eye Check-ups for Employees
A team from Maxi Vision Super Speciality Eye Hospital, Kakinada, conducted a free eye screening camp at the local Administrator’s office on Wednesday. More than 100 officials and employees from various departments underwent eye examinations. Administrator Ankit Kumar and Superintendent Anivilli Srinivas also participated in the medical check-up.
Efforts to Establish Cancer Treatment Centre
Special Representative Malladi Krishna Rao stated that the goal is to develop the JIPMER Multi-Speciality Unit to provide better healthcare services to people in and around Yanam. He announced that a CT scan machine worth ₹5 crore will be installed next month. So far, OPD services have been provided to 95,000 patients. Sweets and fruits were distributed to patients on the occasion of the anniversary celebrations.
Grand Celebration of Simha Vahanotsavam
As part of the Kalyanotsavam celebrations of Sri Bhoo Sametha Venkateswara Swamy, the Simha Vahanotsavam was held grandly on Wednesday night. Panchamrita Abhishekam and special decorations were performed for the deity, followed by a procession through the town streets. Members of the teachers’ association, priests, and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
