On the birth anniversary of the brave patriot Thiru. Tiruppur Kumaran, I pay my respectful tributes to him.
From the textile town of Tiruppur rose a young martyr whose legacy weaves together devotion to Bharat Mata and unshakable resolve against injustice. His unwavering grip on the flag even in his final moments reminds us that freedom was won with unmatched courage and unyielding love for the motherland. His sacrifice was not just an act of defiance, but a call to awaken the spirit of unity, dignity, and courage among millions.
May the brave memory of Kodi Kaatha Kumaran (“The Kumaran who saved the Flag”) continue to inspire every generation to protect our tricolour, cherish our hard-won freedom, and serve our nation with undivided spirit and sacrifice.
శౌర్యవంతుడైన దేశభక్తుడు తిరు. తిరుపూర్ కుమరన్ జన్మ వార్షికోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ఆయనకు నా గౌరవపూర్వక నివాళులు.
టెక్స్టైల్ పట్టణమైన తిరుపూరులోంచి భారతమాత పట్ల భక్తిని, అన్యాయానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా అచంచల సంకల్పాన్ని ఒకటి చేసిన యువ వీరమరణమొందిన దేశభక్తుడు ఉద్భవించాడు. చివరి క్షణాల వరకూ జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని గట్టిగా పట్టుకున్న ఆయన ధైర్యం మనకు గుర్తు చేస్తుంది — మన స్వాతంత్ర్యం అపూర్వమైన సాహసం, తల్లి దేశం పట్ల అచంచలమైన ప్రేమతో సాధించబడిందని. ఆయన త్యాగం కేవలం తిరుగుబాటు చర్య మాత్రమే కాదు, కోట్లాది హృదయాలలో ఐక్యత, గౌరవం, ధైర్యస్ఫూర్తిని మేల్కొలిపిన పిలుపు.
“కోడి కాఠా కుమరన్” (పతాకాన్ని రక్షించిన కుమరన్) అనే ఆ మహావీరుని జ్ఞాపకం ప్రతి తరం మన త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని కాపాడటానికి, కష్టపడి సాధించిన స్వాతంత్ర్యాన్ని స్మరించుకోవడానికి, దేశ సేవలో అచంచలమైన ఆత్మస్ఫూర్తితో నిండిపోవడానికి ప్రేరణనిచ్చుతూ ఉండాలి.
