A cycle rally was organised to create awareness on pollution control and environmental protection. Urging the people to use by cycle for shorter distances to save environment from air pollution there by saving economy by saving fuel cost and gaining health and wellness. The Regional Administrative Officer of Yanam. Shri Aman Sharma hosted the flag and started the rally in the presence of Mr A .Chandrasegaran (HOD/CE) incharge Principal, Mr.VVLP Raju (HOD/S&H), Mr.Ch.K.Sudhakar Regional Coordinator NSS along with Mr.A.Jayaveeran NSS Programming Officer. Dr.N.Sozhan Principal , and the Superintend of Police team carried all the necessary arrangements.The student leader for today’s activity Mr.Sairam organised volunteers.
Afternoon Session the NSS volunteers cleaned Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru Govt.High School, Mettakur under Swatcha Bharath theme. The school headmaster Mr.Prabakara Rao, NSS regional coordinator Ch.K.Sudhakar, First year HOD VVLP Raju and Mr.A Jayaveeran NSS PO mentored the NSS volunteers. Dr.N. Sozhan principal and lecturers of Dr.B.R.Ambetkar Polytechnic College and with JNGH School teachers made all the necessary arrangements.
