Many restaurants can be found outside the gates of AIIMS Patna which even provide delivery service to the AIIMS hostels. A very good market and a new mall is present in Phulwari Sharif(5 km from AIIMS Patna) from where you can buy almost everything. Several malls and restaurants such as Domino’s can be found in Anisabad situated around 7.5 km from AIIMS Patna. The shared autorickshaw ride costs 10 rupees to Phulwari Sharif and 20 rupees to Anisabad from AIIMS Patna. You can also book Ola cabs and Rapido bike taxi.

The connectivity of AIIMS Patna is very good. It’s a half an hour journey from AIIMS Patna to Mithapur Bus stand as well as to Patna Junction and a little less than half an hour journey to the airport. Similarly, it takes around half an hour time to reach Gandhi Maidan. A lot of autorickshaws can be found outside AIIMS Patna.

A total of 15 buses run from Gandhi Maidan to AIIMS Patna everyday carrying a huge load of patients here. Due to these reasons, AIIMS Patna today has the highest patient input among all the other AIIMS(after AIIMS Delhi and similar to AIIMS Bhubaneshwar).

Apart from the already existing highway, the new AIIMS-Digha elevated four-lane highway is also ready and would soon be functional. It would help greatly reduce the time of transit and would help in bringing even more patients to AIIMS Patna with ease.
