సీఎస్‌ఈ :కంప్యూటర్ సైన్స్ ఇంజనీరింగ్.. ఇంజనీరింగ్ విద్యలో సంవత్సరాలుగా ఎవర్‌గ్రీన్ కోర్సు. సీఎస్‌ఈలో చేరితే చాలు… సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఇంజనీర్ ఉద్యోగం, వేలల్లో జీతాలు, రంగురంగుల ప్రపంచం సొంతమైనట్లేనని భావన. టెక్నాలజీ యుగంలో కంప్యూటర్ నిపుణులకు నెలకొన్న డిమాండ్ అలాంటిది. అందుకే సీఎస్‌ఈ తిరుగులేని కోర్సుగా వెలుగొందుతోంది.
ఎందుకంత క్రేజ్..ప్రస్తుతం సమాజం పూర్తిగా ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మయంగా మారింది. మనం ఇంట్లో చూసే టీవీ దగ్గరి నుంచి వాడే సెల్‌ఫోన్, కంప్యూటర్ లాంటి ప్రతి ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ వస్తువుల వెనుక ఒక సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఇంజనీర్ కూడా పనిచేయాల్సిందే. ఆయా వస్తువుల వినియోగం పెరిగేకొద్దీ వాటిని రూపకల్పన చేసే మానవ వనరుల అవసరం ఏర్పడుతూనే ఉంటుంది. సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ రంగం ఎంతగా విస్తరిస్తుందో సీఎస్‌ఈ కోర్సు చేసిన అభ్యర్థులకు అంతగా గిరాకి పెరుగుతుంది. ప్రస్తుతం ఆటోమేషన్ అన్ని రంగాల్లోకి ప్రవేశిస్తున్న క్రమంలో రాబోయే రోజుల్లో విపరీతమైన మానవ వనరుల కొరత ఏర్పడే అవకాశం ఉంది. అందుకే ఆటోమేషన్‌లో కీలక భూమిక పోషించే కంప్యూటర్ సైన్స్ ఇంజనీరింగ్‌కు డిమాండ్ పెరుగుతుంది. 10+2 తర్వాత ఉన్నత విద్యకు సంబంధించి ఎక్కువ మంది విద్యార్థులు సీఎస్‌ఈ కోర్సు వైపు మొగ్గు చూపించడం కూడా ఇదో కారణం. కోర్సు ఇలా..బీటెక్ నాలుగేళ్లు చదవాల్సి ఉంటుంది. పరీక్షలు సెమిస్టర్ విధానంలో జరుగుతాయి. మొత్తం ఎనిమిది సెమిస్టర్లు, ఏడాదికి రెండుసార్లు పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. సెమిస్టర్ పరీక్షలతోపాటు ఇంటర్నల్స్‌కు 25శాతం మార్కులు కేటాయిస్తారు. సిలబస్ :
స్కిల్స్ కూడా అవసరమే..సీఎస్‌ఈ కోర్సులో రాణించేందుకే పలు నైపుణ్యాలు తప్పనిసరి.
